The design of King Valley Farm incorporates clean, geometric lines with sharp, sloped roofs that both complement and contrast the rolling hills of the environment. The extensive use of glass in the atrium and connecting sections maximizes the integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. The surrounding landscape design, featuring soft greenery in warmer months and snow-laden vistas in colder ones, is visually connected to the architecture through large glass walls and terraces.

CONCEPT

The existing structure served as a starting point for the concept of the new facility. Keeping the element of the floor, we created a volumetric sequence which is separated from the glass volume that makes the visual and functional connection between the objects. Another important point is the adaptation of the building to the natural sloping terrain. This was achieved through the SPA volume that is partially underground, fused with the natural terrain. The object have parts of itself and terraces to make the connection with nature more interesting and complex.

The hotel represent a contemporary architectural design that blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The structure is divided into two main sections: a traditional stone facade and a more modern, angular corten steel  volume. The stone portion features large windows, providing ample natural light and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, while the brick section adds a bold, contrasting element to the overall design. King Valley Farm exemplifies a balance between modern architectural aesthetics and traditional materials, perfectly suited for a serene and scenic location.
