The complex of student buildings contains 8 buildings, divided into two types, which adhere to the same architectural concept and social approach. This complex is located right next to the Agricultural University. The positioning of the buildings against each other, enables the creation of green recreational spaces, the generation of a social environment, which aims to bring the students as close as possible to each other.
The architectural concept that connects both types of buildings is that of the social space as the heart of the building. This space is characterized by transparency, maximum visibility, and communication with outdoor recreational spaces, which is also favored by the broken terrain, where in most cases the object appears with colonnades against the main roads, which means more free space at the user level, more transparency and ease in the movement and daily itinerary of students.
Building type 1 and building type 2, respectively 5 floors and 8 floors, accommodate about 280 students. Each facility includes functions such as: reading room, computer room, common lobby, laundry, reception, administration, storage and service facilities, technical facilities, as well as 2 kitchens located on each floor. The rooms are designed for 2 students, with separate sanitary units, with a design rate of 25 m2/student.
Students are the future of a country, and as such they deserve to be accommodated in dignified and educational environments. This is an investment not only in the accommodation of students, but also in the education of a new generation that is considered as the engine of the development of a society.
