The plot is located at the descent of the Llogara-Palas road axis. It is positioned at a considerable height above sea level, on a relief with a very dynamic topography. The strong slope of the relief towards the sea offers us considerable potential, such as panoramic views, privacy, orienting us towards ecological and harmonious solutions with nature.
Inspired to follow the morphology of the terrain, by adapted and extended on both sides of the slope. Creating holes in the volume, hiding them under terraces, by preserve the discretion and individuality of the functions. Treatment of terraces, with water and natural elements, in the service of primary functions.
The intervention on the site seeks to fulfill the functional and aesthetic capacity. The volumetric and aesthetic proposal of the composition leads to unity and harmony with nature.
The design of a residential holiday complex extends to both sides of the slope, where the individual holiday villas are separated from the hotel.
Main services are concentrated on the ground floor and below including restaurant, lounge, spa, swimming pool and gym. Also, the most rationalized services in m2 surface are found again at level -6. Such functional distribution manages to direct movement flows, offering users privacy, individuality and unconditional spatial quality.
Parking is proposed to be positioned near the entrance to the facility. Horizontal access is possible through footpaths and ramps that wind between the terraces. The proposed pedestrian walkway will also serve as an emergency route in special cases. The proposed main squares are connected by a pedestrian walkway that goes through the entire complex, as well as by an existing underground tunnel. The last function is to adapt the spaces to be galleries/exhibitions.
