The Faculty of Law in Tirana is a visionary university project that embraces a unique concept of organic integration with its surroundings and a compact functional design for its classroom modules. This innovative approach seeks to create a harmonious synergy between the academic environment, public landscape, and efficient use of space. The focal point of the concept is the creation of an organic public landscape that seamlessly integrates with the university building. The design envisions lush green spaces, walkways, and gathering areas that not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the campus but also serve as inviting places for students and the public to engage, study, and collaborate.

CONCEPT

The concept of this academic building aims to build a building that is in harmony with the environment and that expresses itself as a monumental element of the city. The green membrane provides a strong connection with nature and the outside space, while the superior didactic volume creates a sensitive and functional architectural presence. The combination of the two volumes is given a special characteristic.

ABOUT

From the compositional side, we have the two-story volume, which is intended for multifunctional functions of the university, it is designed as a modern and transparent membrane that hides around the main building of the university. The functions of this volume can be a library, exhibition halls, spaces for meetings and discussions, social spaces, cafeterias, and other areas used for various creative and social activities.

The plan is organized in the form of an open plan, located in an environment with an amazing view of the park. Its facade is designed with large and attractive windows that allow natural light to enter the interior spaces and provide a strong connection with nature and the outdoor environment. The functional core of the project is a series of compact classrooms designed with efficiency and flexibility in mind. These modules, positioned on top of the public landscape, maximize the use of available space without compromising on the quality of educational environments.
