Patala is a bar located in the most popular area of Tirana, in the courtyard of a villa built in the 1930s. The alley where this club is located is the most popular place for night life in Tirana. Features of this project were that the surface where we would intervene was like a small oasis protected from all sides by greenery among the buildings of Tirana.

CONCEPT

The investor wanted to maintain this harmony with the greenery that surrounded him without infringing on nature just as the ancient NAGA tribes lived on their islands once. The NAGA tribes were the inspiration for the design special elements in this project.
In recent years, Tirana has become one of the cities where modern architecture both in the exterior and inside interior, there is great development turning it into an attraction for modern architecture. This brings us to front one difficulty, to make a modern and ambitious project which competes with other projects or to maintain a simpler and more natural design. This is why I bring a project where the elements of the materials are the color of the earth and a natural element such as: wood, iron, brick, clay, greenery brought in oval and very modern shapes.

ELEMENTS AND MATERIALS

Since we were surrounded by walls from all sides to keep a feeling as if behind the wall next to it, another space was built with a brick structure with lighting on the back side of which they give the feeling that you are in an apartment on an exotic island where light comes from outside the brick spaces.
Another important element is a high metal structure which gives it a central orientation space where people can socialize. At certain moments, fire comes out of this structure. The last element that is very important in this space is the Naga tribal style statue where to establish the post of DJ.

The bar’s interior design is a blend of organic shapes and modern lighting, creating a unique outdoor ambiance. The focal point is the circular bar, crowned by a striking overhead structure, giving the space a sculptural and artistic feel. Surrounded by natural elements like trees and wood textures, the bar invites guests to relax and enjoy a tranquil yet vibrant atmosphere.
